1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dhwani AI as a Service platform ("Dhwani") developed by the National Informatics Centre Uttar Pradesh State Unit ("NIC UP").
By accessing or using Dhwani, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services Offered
Dhwani provides various Artificial Intelligence (AI) based services through Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for use by government departments across India. These services include:
Chatbot Service: Integrates with web portals and websites to offer virtual assistance to users through an AI-powered chatbot.
Human Face Detection Service: Detects human faces and blurriness in uploaded images.
Human Face Matching Service: Compares two images to identify the same object or human face.
Image To Text Conversion Service: Converts text within images into editable digital documents (OCR). Supports nine Indian languages.
Language Translation Service: Translates text from one language to another. Supports various Indian languages.
3. Eligibility
Dhwani is intended for use by authorized departments of the Central Government, State Governments, and Union Territories of India.
4. Registration and Use
To access Dhwani services, your department must register and obtain an API key. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key and for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Data Privacy
Dhwani is committed to protecting your data. You are responsible for ensuring that any data you upload to Dhwani complies with all applicable data privacy laws and regulations.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Dhwani services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not use Dhwani to:
Upload or transmit any illegal, harmful, or offensive content. Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. Disrupt the operation of Dhwani services.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Dhwani services are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, express or implied. NIC UP disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
NIC UP shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of Dhwani services, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
9. Termination
NIC UP reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to Dhwani at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.
10. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and NIC UP regarding your use of Dhwani.
11. Amendments
NIC UP reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms. Your continued use of Dhwani after any amendments constitutes your acceptance of the amended Terms.
